1. Introduction & Scope

AstroDrishti is a guided Vedic astrology mobile application designed to calculate natal charts (Kundli), analyze planetary positions, deliver daily Panchanga, compute Dasha periods, and provide personalized astrological insights.

We respect your personal privacy. We collect only the data necessary to calculate Vedic birth charts using the birth information supplied by the user, authenticate your account, deliver requested notifications, and maintain service reliability.

2. Information We Collect

To provide astrological calculations and manage your user account, AstroDrishti collects the following categories of information:

                    A. Account & Authentication Information
                    Mobile Phone Number: Used for account creation, identification, and authentication.
Google Sign-In Information: When you choose to authenticate using Google Sign-In, we receive your Google account identifier (UID), display name, email address, and profile photo URL where provided. We do not receive or store your Google account password.
Internal User Identifiers: Randomly generated unique user and customer IDs assigned by our backend API to identify your profile across app sessions.

                

                    B. Astrological & Birth Details
                    Date of Birth & Exact Time of Birth: Required for astronomical ephemeris algorithms to calculate celestial planetary positions at your moment of birth.
Birth Location & Geographical Coordinates: City or town name, latitude, longitude, and historical timezone offset required to construct the rising sign (Lagna) and 12 astrological houses (Bhavas).
Profile Preferences: Selected focus areas (such as Career, Finance, or Relationships) and application mode (User or Astrologer).

                

                    C. Technical, Device & Notification Information
                    Authentication and Session Information: Technical identifiers, tokens, and session information required to securely authenticate your account and maintain authorized sessions.
Device Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device registration tokens generated and used as part of device registration to deliver requested push notifications to your mobile device.
Device & OS Specifications: Mobile device model, operating system version, and application build version required for app compatibility and diagnostic evaluation.
Notification Preferences & History: In-app records of delivered astrological alerts, nudges, and your bookmark selections.

                

                    D. Operational & Diagnostic Data
                    Error & Exception Monitoring: Diagnostic exception logs and stack traces synced to our secure API to detect crashes, monitor backend uptime, and resolve software bugs.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information strictly for the following purposes:

Account Creation & Authentication: Creating, maintaining, and verifying your AstroDrishti account across app sessions and devices.
Astrology Chart Calculations: Computing Vedic birth charts (Lagna, Rasi, Navamsha D9, Bhava Chalit), planetary dignities, Karakas, Yogas, and Vimshottari Dasha timelines using the birth details supplied by the user.
Location & Timezone Processing: Determining geographical coordinates and timezone offsets required for local astronomical calculations.
Personalized Astrological Content: Providing transit interpretations, daily Panchanga, and personalized insights based on your natal profile.
Notification Delivery: Sending timely daily nudges and transit notifications according to your preferences.
Application Diagnostics & Support: Troubleshooting technical problems, debugging crash reports, and improving performance.
API Security: Protecting our backend infrastructure and API from unauthorized access, abuse, and misuse.

4. Astrology Data Processing

Astrology calculations require precise astronomical inputs. Your birth date, time of birth, birth place, coordinates, and timezone are processed by our astrology computation engine to calculate planetary celestial longitudes according to standard Vedic principles (Lahiri Ayanamsa).

Your astrological birth data is stored as part of your user profile and is used to generate your charts, astrological readings, personalized content, and related application features.

5. Google Sign-In

AstroDrishti provides Google Sign-In as an optional authentication method. When you sign in with Google:

Google authenticates your identity and shares basic profile details (name, email address, Google UID, and profile photo URL) with AstroDrishti.
We use this information solely to create, identify, and maintain your AstroDrishti account.
AstroDrishti does not receive, collect, or store your Google password or access any unrelated Google account data.

6. Push Notifications

With your consent, AstroDrishti uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications, including:

Personalized astrology alerts and planetary transit updates
Daily Panchanga timings and auspicious time windows
Important application updates and operational notifications

You can manage, customize, or disable notification permissions at any time through your mobile device's system settings or via the in-app notification preferences.

7. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data.

AstroDrishti does not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information or birth data to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks.

We only share data with trusted technical infrastructure providers necessary to operate the application:

Authentication & Push Delivery: Google Firebase (Authentication and Firebase Cloud Messaging).
Cloud Infrastructure & Database Hosting: Secure cloud server environments for the AstroDrishti API and database.

These providers process information as necessary to provide the relevant technical services.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration:

Encryption in Transit: All communication between the AstroDrishti mobile app and our backend API uses industry-standard HTTPS / TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption.
Secure Access Controls: Database records and access tokens are restricted to authorized operational systems.
Local Sandbox Storage: On-device cached profile data is kept in the mobile application's private sandbox storage.

While we employ robust safeguards, no method of electronic transmission or cloud storage is 100% immune to security risks.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and astrological profile records only for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain your active account, deliver our services, resolve technical disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

When you request account deletion, your personal and astrological data will be permanently removed from active databases in accordance with our deletion policy.

10. Account & Data Deletion Requests

You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your AstroDrishti account, birth chart records, and all associated personal data at any time.

Users can initiate account and data deletion through either of the following mechanisms:

In-App Deletion: In the AstroDrishti mobile application, navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
External Web Resource: Submit a request online via our dedicated deletion resource at https://astrodrishtiweb.relyshop.com/contact#deletion-instructions or by emailing our support team at astrodrishti@relyshop.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request - AstroDrishti.

Upon receiving and verifying your request, we will permanently purge your account, saved birth charts, and profile records from our active databases within 30 days. Minimal transaction or diagnostic audit logs may be retained where required by law or legitimate security auditing.

11. Children's Privacy

AstroDrishti is a general audience application and is not directed toward children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us at astrodrishti@relyshop.com so we can promptly delete such data.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our features, technical infrastructure, or legal requirements. When revisions occur, the updated policy will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
